Bank Sales & Service Manager
Due to growth and expansion during 2008, we now have several exiting new opportunities with our banking client for Sales and Service managers throughout the Birmingham, Cheshire, Staffordshire, North Wales, Hertfordshire, Essex, Bedfordshire & Northants Areas.
As a Sales & Service Manager, you will be responsible for supporting your Branch Manager in the daily management of the branch. You will be responsible for a number of critical management activities as well as developing your own career towards Branch Management. Crucially, you will be responsible for managing the branch team’s overall performance and ensuring the smooth running of the branch by dealing with customer complaints but more importantly, training your staff to ensure they are capable of dealing with their own business.
Naturally, a full training and ongoing support is given and career development into running your own Branch is a natural progression. Once you’ve completed your induction course, you will then embark on a Structured Management Course (Residential), before being promoted to managing your own branch, over a 6-9 month period!
This is a key role within the Branch make-up and is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to gain entry into Bank Branch Management. To be considered you will need to have displayed some managerial or supervisory experience within your current role. Ideally you’ll be coming from a high street background, either a Bank, Building Society or Retail Outlet and be able to demonstrate that you have contributed towards the Branch or Stores success.
Salaries are dependant on your current earnings and experience but vary between £19,000 - £25,000 basic with £5-6,000 in bonuses available and a superb banking benefits package, including Private Health, Pension, Shares, 5% Profit Share and 28 days holiday.
