Field Service Engineer - Electrical - Cranes - Birmingham



We are recruiting a Field Service and Maintenance Engineer. An Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Technician with experience on cranes, material handling equipment, conveyors or similar would be ideal.



My client is a major manufacturer of overhead cranes and electric hoists and they are recruiting UK wide for engineers to work from home and cover their local region.



Extensive manufacturer training will be provided and offer genuine opportunities for career progression.



The role will include regular working at height and the customers tend to be within heavy industrial engineering including; steel works, power generation, paper and pulp mills, ports.



Experience required:

Experienced in industrial/factory based maintenance on material handling equipment or similar

Electrical qualifications or suitable exp

Fault finding and diagnosis experience

Full driving licence

IT literate

Able to work overtime and on an on-call rota





Package:

Basic Salary: £23k

+ Door to door travel time at 1 ½ times salary

+ Overtime = £30k-£35k

A Company van and mobile telephone are provided

Regular paid overtime after the basic 39 hours

Commission scheme

6% contributory pension, life assurance and prolonged disability scheme
