Commercial Service Manager



Opportunity

An exciting permanent vacancy has arisen with a West Midlands based Housing Association for a Commercial Service Manager. The role will to be responsible of all cost centre activities ensuring that financial parameters are set and maintained. Duties will include:



 Responsible for estimating and securing competitive tendering work for building maintenance and construction related functions

 Explore new areas of third party income generation by competitive tendering, devising and formulating a tender strategy to support business needs

 Ensure that all pre-contract and procurement administration and validation takes place in readiness for post contract monitoring, including development, negotiation and monitoring of SLA

 Manage and monitor both capital and revenue budget expenditure

Suitable applicants will have the experience of managing large scales budgets in excess of £20m, be commercially astute with knowledge and interests in current maintenance and housing policies and practices. You will also preferably have a degree in Surveying/Building Construction RICS, CIOB.





Salary package

Competitive salary ranges between £35,852 - £40,101 including benefits package.
